Welcome!

If you are a graduate or student of Body-Mind Centering, BMCA is your supporting membership organization.  Join us and receive the many professional and personal advantages of membership in an organized and growing community dedicated to Body-Mind Centering.

Click on the various membership types to see a listing of the BENEFITS of membership that pertain to each type. You can apply online or mail in your application.

First-time professional members who have graduated within 6-months of joining will receive a 25% discount for the first year of membership and a 15% discount for the second year.

As an international organization, we want to encourage diversity in our membership. BMCA recognizes our role in fostering greater accessibility through economically-responsive options for those in our BMC® community where financial circumstances are a barrier. Read about payment plans, and our new Economic Leveling program, which adjusts your membership rate based on your country of residence. Click here to read about payment options.

Associate requirements

If you have graduated from an approved program but choose not to become a Professional Member (which requires signing the Marks License Agreement), the Associate Member category provides all the usual benefits of BMCA membership, except that you cannot use the Marks to describe the work you do and you will not be listed on the website locator. You can still be a member of the BMCA community!

A frequent question: If I don’t use the Marks, what can I say about my training?

Here’s what you can say:
I graduated from a program approved by The School for Body-Mind Centering as a [Certified Practitioner – or whatever your graduation status is].

Or you can say:
"I attended an SBMC-approved program.

Or you can say:
"I studied Body-Mind Centering with Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen.
